Queensberry House welcomes you…

This is your gateway to the hidden and not so hidden treasures of southern Scotland. Queensberry House is an award-winning, four-star guest house in Moffat, an outstanding conservation area in Dumfriesshire.

You can be sure of a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, local knowledge and the full Scottish breakfast. Our Victorian listed building has views of the Moffat hills and is only a five-minute walk from town. The famous Moffat walks are on the doorstep.

Whether you’re heading for the Highlands, or breaking your journey on the John O’Groats to Land’s End trek or just need to get away from it all, Moffat is the ideal base to relax and discover this corner of southern Scotland in all its beauty. Moffat is the perfect stopping-off point, just two miles from the A74(M) motorway, and Queensberry House is a five-minute walk from the centre of town.

Take junction 15 from the M74 and follow the signs into Moffat. Carry on through the high street and take the right-hand fork (signposted Beechgrove) at the mini roundabout. Queensberry House is the 12th house on the right.
